Thank you for considering Rudyard lake Sailing Club for your upcoming event, we are the ideal venue for weddings, christening, birthday celebrations to name a few.
We have a large open space with stunning views of the lake, the perfect setting for events both large and small. The facilities we have on site offer everything you need to make your event memorable.
We have a flexible approach and can accommodate a variety of formats. The club has a covered balcony overlooking the lake, ideal for evenings looking out on the lake at any time of the year and an upstairs room that can be used either as a private room, or a photo bar.
Size of Venue: We can seat 80 for a sit down meal comfortably, and up to 120 for an evening event (e.g. disco)

Costs: £1,600 plus VAT
Catering: A variety of options are possible. The club has a full catering kitchen (5* hygiene rated). Please speak with our Lettings Manager for recommendations of great caterers we have hosted over recent years. All come with great recommendations and suit a variety of budgets.
Bar: We have a fully staffed bar serving a variety of drinks and real cask ale. Due to licencing regulations only drinks purchased through the club can be consumed.
Other Special Touches: With its lakeside venue, you can arrive in style by boat, or arrange trips for your guests at incredibly reasonable prices. Contact Ray on 07718 808881 for more details of Sunray, a modern Edwardian styled counter stern launch.
Accommodation is at local hotels or in one of the many nearby holiday cottages.

WOW what a venue. Our wedding day was perfect, thank you to everyone who made us feel so welcome on the day and in the lead up. I cannot recommend you highly enough! We loved the venue and hope that more brides and grooms find out about it because it was perfect.

with stunning views across the lake. The venue can look very special indeed. The day went really nicely with everything well organised, excellent facilities and no last minutes hiccups. There was more than enough room for a large guest list with room to relax outside to enjoy the sunset. We received glowing feedback from all our guests who all commented on the lovely setting and building. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending this venue.

A huge thank you to you all for letting us use your venue for our daughters wedding. It was a beautiful wedding at a very special venue and we loved every minute. We would just like to say a massive thank you! You have being so lovely in the run up to the wedding, really helpful and we're great fun on the day! The sailing club was a perfect venue for our wedding and so many people commented on what a beautiful setting it was. We loved decorating the sailing club for the wedding and you were really easy going with how we could decorate it. The boat trips with Ray were great fun and he was also full of lots of laughs!!
